WIPO Global Awards celebrates exceptional enterprises and individuals making smart use of intellectual property for commercialization while also bringing a positive contribution to society through their innovation and creativity.
WIPO announced a call for entries for the 2023 WIPO Global Awards. The 2023 competition will take place from January 16 to March 31 and is open to SMEs from all over the world working in any sector of the economy, including technology, agriculture, creative industries, and others. Applications utilizing all forms of intellectual property, including copyright, trademarks, patents, and geographical indications, are encouraged.
As per WIPO Circular, an independent jury will choose up to seven winners. Each will be invited to this year’s Global Awards Ceremony, which will take place during the WIPO General Assembly in Geneva in July. The winners will also receive a personalized WIPO mentorship program.
These WIPO Global Awards are aimed to raise awareness of intellectual property as a valuable resource and encourage more designers, producers, and innovators to view IP as a potent instrument for advancing both domestically and internationally.
